Kumhrar: Located in the city of Patna, Bihar, Kumhrar is the site that contains archaeological ruins of Pataliputra and marks the earliest capital of Ajatshatru, Chandragupta and Ashoka - the great.

Takht Shri Harmandir Saheb:
It is the holy shrine of Sikhs. This holy shrine of Sikhs was built by Maharaja Ranjit Singh to sanctify the birthplace of Guru Gobind Singh Jee, the 10th guru (prophet) of the Sikhs. Built in white marbles, with kiosks on the terraces, it is the famous Gurudwara in all over India. It is said that it is the second-most important Gurudwara of Sikhs in India. Many Sikh scriptures and individual assets of Guru Gobind Singh are preserved in this beautiful dome-shaped Gurudwara. It is the must seeing landmark in the city of Patna, Bihar.

This library hoses a large numbers of manuscripts and printed books. The library is completely funded by the Ministry of Culture (Government of India).

Patna Museum : Patna Museum is also called Jadu Guar. It is a well-known museum. The museum hoses an excellent collection of bronze and stone sculptures. Here you will also see beautiful terracotta figures of Hindu and Buddhist artists. Didarganj Yakshi is the most prized collection of this museum. Very recently when the former President of India and great scientist visited this museum, he got highly captivated with Didarganj Yakshi.

Sanjay Gandhi Zoological & Botanical Garden: Situated on the Baily Road, Patna zoo is also a worth seeing attraction in the city of Patna. The zoo has numerous birds and animals. This zoo is very popular among children. One can also see here an aquarium (Machhli Ghar) here. Don’t miss to enjoy boat ride in the beautiful lake of this garden.
