Day 01 : Arrival Delhi
Upon arrival at in New Delhi, Royal Indian Tour representative greets and transfers you to the hotel. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 02 : Delhi
After a leisurely breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit major tourist places like Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandani Chowk, Rajghat, Qutub Minar, Old Fort, Parliament House, President House, India Gate, Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Birla Temple, Akshardham Temple, etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 03 : Delhi - Varanasi
Fly to Varanasi. Royal Indian Tour receives you at Varanasi Airport and transfers you to the hotel booked. Varanasi is a major tourist destination and Hindu pilgrim centre in India. It is also the oldest living city in the world. Embark on Varanasi city tours visiting Vishwanath Temple, Bharat Mata Temple, Durga Temple, Tulsi Manas Temple, Aurangazeb’s Mosque, Banaras Hindu University, etc. In the evening view Aarti Ceremony held of the sacred ghats of Ganga River. Day 04 : Varanasi
Enjoy boat cruise in the morning over Ganga River to see bathing ghats and cremation sites. Later take excursion to Sarnath to visit Deer Park, Buddhist Temple and Museum. Dinner and overnight will be at hotel at Varanasi.
Day 05 : Varanasi - Khajuraho
Fly to Khajuraho after breakfast at the hotel. Royal Indian Tour representative receives you at Khajuraho Airport and transfers you to the hotel. Spend evening at leisure or enjoy Sound & Light Show held at the premises of the Khajuraho Temple Complex. Khajuraho has achieved fame for the sensual appeal of its erotic sculptures. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 06 : Khajuraho - Agra
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later explore the architecturally beautiful Western and Eastern Group of Khajuraho Temples. Later take flight to Agra - the City of Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World loving described as the Symbol of Love. On arrival in Agra, you will be transferred to the hotel booked. Day 07 : Agra - Jaipur
Visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunrise. Take your breakfast at the hotel. And then visit the splendid Agra Fort and the beautiful Itmad-Ud-Daullah (the Baby Taj or the Little Taj Mahal). After lunch drive to Jaipur - the state capital of Rajasthan famously known as the Pink City of India. On arrival in Jaipur, Royal Indian Tour representative transfers you to the hotel. Day 08 : Jaipur
In the morning, visit the Amber Fort - one of the most fascinating of Indian forts. After breakfast embark onf Jaipur city tours. Visit major attractions like City Palace, Jantar Mantar, Hawa Mahal, Albert Hall Museum, etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 09 : Jaipur - Pushkar
After an early morning breakfast in hotel, check out from the hotel and drive to Pushkar - the holy city for Hindus. Later set out for the holy town of Pushkar. Visit the only Brahma temple in India, the Savitri temple and the three sacred lakes of Pushkar, India. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 10 : Pushkar - Udaipur
Have your breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast drive to Udaipur, the city of lakes. Check-in at hotel upon arrival in Udaipur. Relax. Enjoy boat cruise over picturesque Pichola Lake in the evening. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 11 : Udaipur
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Later, embark on Udaipur city tours. Major attractions in Udaipur are City Palace, Lake Palace, Jag Mandir Palace, Fateh Prakash Palace, Jagdish Temple, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, Folk Art Museum, etc. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 12 : Udaipur - Mumbai - Aurangabad
Fly to Mumbai to connect flight to Aurangabad in Maharashtra. On arrival in Aurangabad, Royal Indian Tour representative transfers you to the hotel booked. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 13 : Aurangabad (Ajanta Caves)
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards, enjoy full day sightseeing tours of Ajanta Caves. Explore the caves of Ajanta which offer a rich wall-hanging of images that speak of palaces, royalty, cultures and tales of everyday life of ancient India. Long buried in the debris of time, these 30 caves were built to offer seclusion to the Buddhist monks, who lived, taught and performed rituals. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 14 : Aurangabad (Ellora Caves) - Mumbai
After breakfast, explore Ellora Caves. Engraved between fourth and fifth century, the rock-cut temples and monasteries of Ellora symbolize the three major faiths of India - Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. Like Ajanta, Ellora caves too are a fine example of cave temples with almost 34 caves with elaborate interiors and decorative facades. Later in the evening, you will be transferred to airport to board the flight to Mumbai. On arrival in Mumbai, you will be transferred to the hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day 15 : Mumbai - Madurai
Fly to Madurai. Madurai is the second largest city in the state of Tamil Nadu. On arrival in Madurai, you will be transferred to the hotel. Freshen up and relax. Visit the world famous Madurai Meenakshi Temple - one of the Seven Wonders of India. See architecturally beautiful gopurams. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 16 : Madurai - Tanjore - Trichy
After breakfast drive to Tanjore also known as the City of Temples. There are about 74 temples in Tanjore. Brihadeshwara Temple is the most famous temple. Visit the Temple and Thanjavur Palace. Later drive to Trichy. On arrival in Trichy, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the evening explore Trichy and visit spectacular Rock Fort Temple. Dinner & overnight will be at the hotel.
Day 17 : Trichy - Chennai
In the morning you will be transferred to the Railway Station to board train for Chennai, the capital city of Tamil Nadu. On arrival in Chennai, check-in at your hotel booked by Royal Indian Tour. Later embark on sightseeing tour of Chennai visiting major tourist places like St Thomas Church, Kapaleshwar Temple, Fort St George, Marina Beach, etc. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 18 : Chennai - Kanchipuram - Mahabalipuram - Chennai
Have a very hearty breakfast at the hotel. Take full day excursion to Kanchipuram and Mahabalipuram. Kanchipuram is also known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples. It is one of the oldest cities in India. It is famous for its temples and hand-woven silks. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India. The city is associated with Hindu lords Shiva and Vishnu. Worth visit temples in Kanchipuram are Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, Vaikunthaperumal Temple, etc, all built in the 7th and 8th centuries. Mahabalipuram is a small, peaceful seashore resort with a unique 7th century Shore Temple, a beautiful beach and some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in the world. Don’t forget to enjoy photography of the beautiful shore temples at sunset. In time return back to Chennai and check-in at your hotel. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel.
