Day 01 - Arrival in Mumbai
Fly from your country to Mumbai - the commercial capital of India & the capital city of Maharashtra, India. Upon arrival in Mumbai - the city of dreams, Royal Indian Tour representative will greet and assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Enjoy welcome dinner organized at the hotel restaurant. Stay overnight in comfort and luxury at the hotel.
Day 02 - Bombay - Cochin
Fly for Cochin. Upon arrival in Cochin, Royal Indian Tour representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Later visit to the Mattancherry Dutch Palaace, St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing Nets and Jewish Synagogue. By nightfall return back to the hotel. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 03 - Cochin - Munnar drive, 130 km
After hearty breakfast at the hotel drive to Munnar. Upon arrival in Munnar, Royal Indian Tour representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Munnar, largely blanketed by tea plantations, this little hill resort offers breath-taking scenery. Situated at an altitude of 1525 metres, this town has a local bracing climate. The atmosphere is fragrant with extensive tea and cardamom plantations. There are enchanting high ranges, lakes and streams and lovely views of low flying clouds and mist filled valleys. Spend rest of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 04 - Munnar - Periyar drive, 100 km
After hearty breakfast at the hotel drive to Periyar. Periyar is famous for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary & Tiger Reserve and Periyar Lake. Upon arrival in Periyar, Royal Indian Tour representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Take a boat ride over the water of Periyar Lake to view the wildlife attractions of Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 05 - Periyar - Kumarakom, 136 km (via Kottayam)
Have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and then drive to Kumarakom via Kottayam. Kottayam, 64 kms from Cochin, it is another commercial centre of Kerala. Dotted with churches and covered with rubber plantations, Kottayam is just 16 km away from Kumarakom and Vembanand Lake. Upon arrival in Kumarakom, Royal Indian Tour representative will assist you to transfer you to the hotel. Kumarakom is a beautiful backwater village on the shores of the enchanting Vembanad Lake. Dinner and overnight stay will be at the hotel.
Day 06 - Kumarakom - Embark Houseboat
After hearty breakfast at the hotel embark of houseboat over the backwaters. In the evening witness sunset through coconut palms. Dinner and overnight will be onboard the houseboat.
Day 07 - Alleppey - Quilon
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, cruise takes you through Pallathuruthy River to Ambalappuzha. Here you will visit ancient and historical temple of Lord Krishna and then Buddha Temple. Leave for Champakkulam. Overnight will be at Quilon.
Day 08 - Quilon - Kanyakumari
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, explore Quilon for short time. Quilon is famous for old wooden houses and cashew tree plantation on the edge of Ashtamudi Lake. The delightful backwaters of Kerala begin from this picturesque town. Later, drive to Kanya Kumari, 170 km arriving before sun-set. The sun-set at the confluence of Indian Ocean, Bay of Bengal and Arabian Sea is a delight to witness. Get enchanted with the spectacular view of sunset. Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Kanyakumari.
Day 09 - Kanyakumari - Kovalam
After hearty breakfast at the hotel, visit to the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Kanyakumari Temples, and other attractions of Kanyakumari. Later proceed to Kovalam. Day 10 - Kovalam - Trivandrum - Departure
After hearty breakfast at the hotel drive to Trivandrum and explore the attractions of Trivandrum - the capital of Kerala. Visit Padmanabhaswamy Temple, a seven storey stone structure is the most impressive landmark. This temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu contains several inscriptions and excellent murals, innumerable intricate stone carvings adorn the temple. Napier Museum of Arts and Crafts completed in 1880, it was an early experiment in what became known as the Indo Saracenic style.
