Har ki Pauri: Har Ki Pauri is one of the most sacred Ghats in Haridwar and also in India. According to popular belief, Har Ki Pauri Ghat was built by Vikramaditya in the memory of his Bhartri Hari. This Ghat is also known as Brahmakund. In the evening, the beauty of Ghat is worth seeing. The Ghat is admirably illuminated during Maha Aarti performed on this Ghat. It is said that Ghat has a footprint of Lord Vishnu. According to legends Lord Brahma (the creator of the universe) performed a Yagna (Prayers) on Har Ki Pauri Ghat.
